Due to federal legislation you may be eligible to receive a maximum of thirteen weeks of Emergency Unemployment Compensation benefits under the Supplemental Appropriation Act, 2008, Title IV, Public Law 110-252 signed by the President on June 30, 2008.  Extended benefits may be paid for weeks beginning July 06, 2008 and ending July 4, 2009.

To file for Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC), we ask that you print and complete Form 68-0245. Return it to Iowa Workforce Development using one of the following methods:

• Take the completed form to your local Iowa Workforce Center or

• Fax the completed form to (515) 281-5281 or

• Mail the completed form to this address:
